Join me on the journey...

Creating stories & music about healing, love & the journeys that shape us.

Welcome to the journey...

About me

I’m Carina Hultin Dahlmann, a published author from Oslo, Norway who also grew up in New York. Writing and music have been lifelong passions, and after years in food and holistic wellness — with five nonfiction books published by major Norwegian publishing houses — I’m now embracing a new creative chapter as a novelist and finding my way back to songwriting.

My current project is a novel accompanied by original songs, set between Los Angeles and Nashville. The story explores love, healing, and personal transformation — the experiences, struggles, and moments that shape who we are.

Writing, storytelling and music have always been my passions, and this project brings them together for the first time.

From wellness to storytelling, from food to song — every chapter leads here.

Books

Before turning to fiction and returning to music, I built a career in food, health, and holistic wellness. I became one of Norway’s early voices in this field and published five nonfiction books with major Norwegian publishing houses.

Finding My Way Back

For me, storytelling and music have always been ways of healing and making sense of life. I had forgotten that this was my true self — until I recently returned to creative writing and music, and found healing there again. My current novel began as a handwritten manuscript I started at 14, and rediscovering it reminded me of the voices that deserve to be heard. Through my work, I want to take both my characters and you — the reader and listener — on that same journey of love, resilience, and finding the way back home whether that home is physical, spiritual, or both.

Music engages the brain and body, reducing stress while opening space for emotional healing.

Research shows that music activates multiple areas of the brain at once, reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, and even easing pain. Beyond the physical, it supports emotional healing by helping us process memories, release feelings, and connect more deeply with ourselves and others.
