About Carina
The Story
From Then to Now
Carina Hultin Dahlmann is a published author exploring a new creative chapter as a novelist and songwriter. Born in Kristiansand, Norway, and raised partly in New York, she has lived between cultures — a perspective that shapes her storytelling. After a career in food and wellness — including five nonfiction books published with major Norwegian houses — she is returning to her first love: storytelling through words and music.
Both writing and music have been lifelong companions. Carina began writing songs and recording in studios as a teenager, and she has been writing in various forms most of her life. But life carried her onto another path — into food and holistic wellness. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London, became an olive oil sommelier, and was one of Norway’s first specialists in sustainable food experiences. Her bestselling books on juicing, healing foods, and holistic living reached a wide audience and established her as a trusted voice in health and wellness.
When her career in food and wellness came to a natural close, Carina rediscovered her passion for music and writing in a new way. Today, her current projects include working on her debut novel set in Los Angeles and Nashville, and original songs written to accompany the story. Through both words and music, she is exploring themes of love, healing, resilience, and finding the way back home.
This is the journey she is on — and she invites you to join her.
A journey back to words, music, and storytelling.
Writing and music have always been my home. I just lost the way there for a while…
